Toledo, OH – It’s no surprise that Vice President Joe Biden puts his foot in his mouth again when speaking at a campaign event in New Hampshire today, telling a crowd that neither “private equity guys” nor plumbers are qualified to be President.
“Since when is it Joe Biden’s job to tell the American people who is and isn’t qualified to be President,” said Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher, candidate for Congress in Ohio’s 9th District.
Wurzelbacher continued, “This type of elitism and class warfare are the reasons why I’ve gotten into this campaign. Instead of demeaning the workers who built our country, I’m going to stand up for all the blue collar voters and regular folks who feel left behind by political elitism and divisive politics.”
The same career politicians who have spent years bankrupting our country, heaping mounds of debt on our children, destroying our businesses, and stripping away our liberties are the ones who need to answer questions about being qualified to run this country.
Wurzelbacher concluded with a message for the Vice President, “Mr. Biden, killing jobs and raising taxes does not qualify you to be President.”
Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher is a Republican candidate for Congress in Ohio’s 9th Congressional District. Joe Wurzelbacher rose to national fame as Joe the Plumber when he challenged then-candidate Barack Obama on his plans to increase taxes for the middle class. Since 2008, Wurzelbacher has spoken nationally in support of blue collar workers, encouraging voters to get engaged in the political process.
